Feedback from the teams following last year's Festival...

So thanks for all tour hospitality over the years, I’ve played hockey for well over 30 years now and been on numerous tours and I must say 7oaks is by far and away the best organised I’ve ever attended
              2011 feedback - Prawnstars
Just a quick note to say thanks once again for a wonderful festival, superbly organized and we even got salmon in our lunch pack, now where else would you get that sort of service.

We did one silly thing and that was to win the men’s section !! not sure how we managed that but beating the Amnesiacs on the Monday morning was a pleasant surprise, at least our poor old ladies came away with the wooden spoon.

              Take care
              Dudley and the other Prawnstars

Dear Slow and Swarves and King and Narrator and woodpecker and mirror holder etc etc.....

Great weekend - thanks to many who organized hockey and cabaret and hugest thanks to all for being great company all weekend!  Same time next year???? "

"I'd just like to concur with "Granny" swarf that it was an extremely enjoyable weekend and a great team to play amongst..............

Would love to repeat the experience next year - would be mucking fagical"

"Likewise - just too tired and hungover to speak or think so must have been
              fun... "

"Agreed!! Am still able to walk today and enjoyed being on the pitch with a stick again, not the usual white one!!!!
              Muddy Blaverlous - Umpy "

"I am still really laughing - I haven't laughed continuosly so much for ages.
Thanks to all for a fab weekend."

              "Ladies,

What can I say - I was a 'Sevenoaks Vets festival virgin' before this weekend - I certainly don't feel like one anymore (hope that isn't too rude for you Jules!!!).

An absolutely massive thank you to you all for making me feel so welcome and for allowing me to bask in the resounding success of the cabaret after others of you had put the hard work in.

Thanks again for all the laughs and memories.

One final apology to Karen for asking her 'to make a run' and for hitting the ball too hard (though I stand by my statement that Karen moved more in the cabaret than on the hockey pitch! - I knew you had it in you Karen!).

              Love Doc "

"Its probably something to do with the wine consumed to give Dutch courage before the cabaret - perhaps I need to drink some before every game?
              Karen "

Hi, having just got back to the North West I thought I would send a quick note to say thank you to your Committee for an excellent Festival. Hillsiders had a thoroughly good time and that was down to the hard work put in by your team and the wonderful Sevenoaks hospitality.
We have already booked our Hotel for next year!!
              Chris Welton, Hillsiders

"The Monkeys had a great tour and please pass on our thanks again to the Sevenoaks organising committee
It was a very quiet monkey bus yesterday afternoon - mostly pushing zzzz's out along the M4. However there is a "tour meeting" planned on Thursday at a local cocktail bar in Bristol - so I am sure a few shreeks and plans for next year will already begin "

              Jan Bowen (Cheeky Monkey)

              Feeback from an umpire

I'm just writing to say a huge 'well done!' to you and all of your fellow organizers. The players were obviously out to enjoy today ---and we umpires were too.
The standard of umpiring seemed to just right for this event ---I shall cherish the vision of Sue Pinks standing by her decisions, indeed, standing her ground as some six-foot- something men questioned her judgement.

Thankyou for inviting me, Steve Bristow
