A quick request. Could all teams have a good think and see if they know who is their longest serving player in the tournament. It could be a home or visiting player. It would be great to find out.

New teams confirmed are Chiswick Old Birds and Old Coals.

Also an alteration; Slow Watts are now called CRAFT Ladies.

The Vets Commitee discuss the serious issues that matter about the Sevenoaks 25th vets hockey festival.

The confirmed teams so far are:

Ladies Teams - Royal Oaks, Cheeky Monkeys, Prawn Stars, Tartan Tarts and Slow Watts.

Mens Teams - Amnesiacs, Beach Boys, Beer Engines, Fighting Haddocks, Hillsiders, Letchers, Old Oaks, Open Ourense, Praetorians, Prawn Stars.

At time of blog, there are still several more teams to confirm. In terms of the men's teams, space is limited so the remaining teams better get their fastest astros on!

Also worthy of note, the Donnigton Manor has 20 rooms left for the weekend for any teams who are needing somewhere to book. Check out the useful links page for the hotel's website.

 

Hockey New Year to you all! Thank you for all your kind comments about the website. We've had some interest from foreign teams who are interested in playing and have contacted the committee via the contact us page. Perhaps it is time to start asking local hotels to advertise on these pages?

Just to let you know, there are now more pictures on the gallery and team photos. Addtionally some of the team photos are now updated to the most recent shots from the last tournament.

There will be useful information posted here on this blog in the lead up to the festival. Any comments are welcome, especially if you have any questions about the tournament. Also, time permitting there will be a running score board of the weekend's games.
